Hello Reader,

NEW EMAIL SERIES!! TIP TUESDAY!

There's definitely a bit of a learning curve when it comes to the Ninja Creami! But, once you get the hang of it, you can create almost anything you want in the Ninja Creami!

Whether you are just getting started or are a self-proclaimed Ninja Creami master of all things delicious, there's probably a tip or two that can make your Ninja Creami adventures even better!

This week's tip: Start with a good ice cream base recipe.

Once you have a good ice cream base, you can add in any mix-ins or flavor extracts/oils that you would like. Getting the right texture can be a little tricky, but once you've got the right ingredients, the rest becomes so much easier.

I like to start with a good vanilla base recipe. I use vanilla bean paste in almost all my Ninja Creami ice cream recipes because I love the rich vanilla flavor that it provides. Also, I find that vanilla extract can sometimes have an alcoholic flavor and smell that I don't particularly care for.

My recipe for Ninja Creami Vanilla Bean ice cream has the following ingredients:

  • Cream Cheese
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla Bean Paste
  • Heavy cream (or half and half)
  • Milk

Once you have mastered this recipe, you can change out the vanilla bean paste for other flavors like coconut, strawberry, mint, cotton candy, or butterscotch. Simply replace the vanilla bean paste with a little extract. Usually, a little extract goes a very long way. So, start with a small amount, about 1/4 teaspoon, and then taste the base mixture before freezing. Add more extract, a little bit at a time, until the base recipe has a slightly strong flavor to it. The flavor will mellow out a little once frozen.

If you want to make chocolate chip or peanut butter cup ice cream, just add in the chocolate chips or peanut butter cups during the mix-ins process.

One ice cream base recipe=endless flavors!

Facebook Ninja Creami Community most popular tip last week:

Buy extra containers when you buy your machine! 2 is NOT enough! It's more convenient to have multiple containers on hand so that you can always have ice cream ready to go in your freezer!
